Group Accountant – Pension Fund and Treasury Management

Salary: £54,170 - £61,920 per annum inclusive of Inner London Weighting (depending on experience)

If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen within the Corporate Treasury team of the Chamberlain’s (Finance) Department.

You will provide a pro-active technical accounting service for all treasury and pension matters, ensuring the delivery of the pension fund accounts and annual report. You will work with other local authorities on collaborative projects such as shared services and the London collective investment vehicle that sustains and enhances the financial strength of the City Corporation through the effective and efficient management of its resources.

You will be qualified accountant (preferably CIPFA), with a sound knowledge of the key issues facing local government pension scheme (LGPS) and treasury management and be able to provide clear professional advice to Members and senior managers.
