CLIC Sargent - Finance Business Partner (Major Projects)

We are looking for a highly motivated and forward-thinking finance professional with robust analytical skills to take a lead role in the financial management of Major Projects within CLIC Sargent.
Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning and Insight, your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and monitoring the overall budget and financial plans for two major programmes (c. £50m) and acting as lead finance business partner for all major projects within the charity;
- Leading on the preparation of monthly project and programme accounts, variance analysis and forecasting; assisting in the development of annual budgets and planning;
- Providing clear communication and in-depth support by building and maintaining excellent relationships with the business; ensuring budget holders and project teams are supported on all financial issues;
- Being responsible for the continuous improvement of reporting, analysis and insight for major projects with the project teams to enhance the quality and timeliness of financial information.
The successful candidate must be a professionally qualified accountant with a driven and proactive approach and robust technical skills from the Charity, Commercial or wider Public Sector. You will have a strong sense of commercial acumen and an analytical mind-set. You will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with, challenge and influence, a diverse range of finance and non-finance persons across the organisation.
