The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) is the independent organisation responsible for providing national guidance and advice on promoting high quality health, public health and social care.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated management accountant to join the finance team in our Manchester city centre office. Please note that applications for candidates wishing to work full-time or part-time are equally welcome.

We are seeking a fully CCAB or equivalent qualified accountant (exceptions may be made for finalist candidates) who will have responsibility for delivering a high-quality management accounts service to a wide variety of budget holders.

You will have line management responsibility and be part of a skilled management accounts team. Using your excellent communication skills to build working relationships with managers at all levels of the organisation, you will also be working very closely with financial accounts, payroll, HR and the directorates themselves and will be an integrated member of the organisation.

You will lead on the delivery of financial advice and guidance relating to operational finance issues. You will support the performance of the organisation’s internal operations and the delivery of products and services by providing proactive and responsive financial support.
