The Central London Community Healthcare Trust is an NHS organisation which provides community health services to a range of patients across London and Hertfordshire.  Examples of the types of services which CLCH provides are: health visiting for new-born babies, stroke rehabilitation and palliative care for people towards the end of their lives.

The organisation is currently looking for a Finance Business Partner to support the Trust’s Financial Planning and Specialist Projects.  As the Business Partner for these areas, you will work alongside the Trust’s Transformation team responsible for QIPP (Quality, Innovation, Productivity and Performance) and projects, the Commercial team and other relevant divisions.  You will be expected to provide expert financial analysis, scrutiny, support and advice.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading on complex financial modelling underpinning Trust wide transformational programmes and modelling of key aspects of the Trust’s medium and long term financial planning;
  • Leading on the financial analysis and scrutiny of the Trust’s QIPP planning and monitoring;
  • Acting as the financial lead on the delivery of identified special projects related to business development and taking the technical lead for tenders for new business and strategic partnership;
  • Establishing and managing relationships with the Trust’s transformation team, Finance Business Partners, Divisional Directors, Commercial team and others to gain an in-depth understanding of the services provided.

It is an exciting time to be joining Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust.  With the Trust currently expanding its community services portfolio, you will be part of an innovative and developing team.

The successful applicant will ideally be a CCAB-qualified accountant but may also come with a number of year’s relevant analytical and (desirably) financial modelling experience.  The appointed candidate may come from a range of backgrounds, including NHS, wider public sector and even commercial.  Applicants will have excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiating skills and will demonstrate credibility when liaising with senior managerial and clinical staff.  You will be able to manage a number of projects simultaneously and be able to met agreed deadlines.  Your attention to detail and your verbal and written communication skills will be outstanding and you will be able to convey complex finance information to non-finance managers.  Finally, you will be able to adapt readily and respond constructively to change.
