As deputy to the Head of Finance & Revenue Services; you will be the Council’s financial expert with confident technical skills and the ability to see the bigger picture.  Supporting our services with their business plans, you will provide costing options to aid decision making along with a commercial view helping us to make the most of opportunities for innovation as well as highlighting efficiencies.

You will need to be a qualified accountant with a minimum of 2-3 years post qualification finance experience in local government. You will be good with the detail but be able to see the big picture and effectively engage your team in achieving their goals.  So if you have excellent supervisory/management skills we would like to hear from you.
