City of Lincoln Council.

Website

With a population that now stands at 90,000 people, Lincoln is growing. Nearly half of our residents are under the age of 30, making us one of the youngest cities in Britain. The City of Lincoln Council is a district Council split into four directorates, each with its own distinct service provision. They come together to work towards our five key priorities which focus on putting the customer at the heart of everything we do. This means we aim to make a real difference to those who live, work and visit our city. The City of Lincoln Council looks to:

  • Reduce poverty and disadvantage
  • Seek to increase the supply of affordable housing
  • Improve the council’s housing landlord function
  • Reduce the city’s carbon footprint
  • Develop a fit for purpose council
