A large organisation in Dorset is looking for a Finance Manager on an interim basis for approx 6 months.The role :
* Business Stream Strategic Planning and Reporting in line with the Strategic Market Assessment and the Planning Policy
* Financial and Business Planning
o Preparation of Quarterly Business Forecasts and attendance at Board Reviews
o Provision of Monthly Phased Forecasts and Management Information
o Assessment of Risk - Opportunities and vulnerabilities
* Provision and Ownership of Accounting Information
o Ownership of accounting data accuracy and integrity and maintain suitable audit trail to support accounting data
o Accountability for reconciliation of balance sheet accounts including all physical counts.
o Scrutiny in support of business processes where required
* Support Sales & Operations Planning
o Member of S&OP management board and attendance at S&OP meetings
o Chair Integrated Reconciliation Meetings
* Costing and Pricing
o Approve cost centre/work centre hierarchies and structures
o Awareness and deployment of the pricing/costing policy
* Investment Requirements
o Support Stream in preparation of Investment Business Cases (Soft & Hard)
* ERP/Business Systems
o Support the Stream in developing Performance measurements and reporting requirements
o Drive the Financial Processes and Reporting requirements for the Stream working with the Business and Optimisation Team
* Transformation
o Support the change initiative in the Business, including continuous improvement of Finance processes and procedures
* Tender Vet/Bid no Bid
Develop and enhance the financial awareness and understanding throughout the Stream and effective communication.
* Management of Finance Team.
The successful candidate will be immediately available and ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified or equivalent.
