Purpose and scope of the Interim Senior Financial AccountantYou will be a member of the senior finance team reporting directly to the Head of Finance. The post holder will take responsibility for providing highly complex and business focused advice to the Finance department
You will be the lead accountant, responsible for the preparation of consolidated financial accounts, producing year end accounts and reports, and assisting in financial budgeting and planning processes.
The post holder will need to make judgments and decisions on a range of complex financial situations and be responsible for leading and developing a team of professionals ensuring a comprehensive and efficient service is provided to Directors, senior managers, budget holders and external stakeholders.
The role will require forensic accounting methods to analyse complex business opportunities for the department.
You will be a Fully Qualified Accountant with considerable year end accounts experience from within the Charity/Not for Profit sector.
You will also be either immediately available or a maximum of 1 weeks notice.
Experience of Great Plains/Dynamics would be added value to your application
