What’s the job?
We have an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded, experienced financial professional to head up our Financial Management Service. This role is fundamental in delivering robust financial governance for the Council, whilst providing a leading role in the commercial development of the organisation and supporting the Senior Management Team to generate new business opportunities.

Who are we looking for?
About you – you will be a fully qualified Accountant with experience of public sector accounting but also experience in a commercial environment. Together your financial acumen, leadership and strategic thinking will be key in driving forward our commercial ambitions.
As a new organisation, we are developing what we do and how we do it and you'll need to be willing to contribute to this development with new ideas, flexibility and the ability to manage change.
