Our client is a highly reputable education establishment and they are presently recruiting a Qualified Accountant in the capacity of Systems Accountant.They are in the process of implementing a new finance system with a planned implementation date of April 2013. This post is an appointment for c. 12 months to lead the implementation of the management accounting functions of the new finance system.
Key areas - You will lead the implementation of the management accounting functions of the new finance system, train appropriate staff members in the use of the new system, and you will review current systems and processes.
Person Specification -
You will have substantial experience of working within a large accounting function. Have experience of financial systems development and implementation, in particular budgeting, forecasting and planning systems. Have project management experience to assist in the planning and co-ordination of activities. Be fully Qualified. Have a strong team ethic but with the ability to work on own initiative.
