This is a hands on role that includes all degrees of accounting as well as specific work for a variety of projects. You will be responsible for advising clients on a range of business decisions. Essentially, you will be a team leader for a group of Financial Controllers and be part of ensuring that protocols and procedures are adhered to - from budget through to management reporting, working closely with accountants and external advisers. You will also have your own portfolio of clients and liaise with the Head of Finance.
Duties and main responsibilities will include:
Supervision of Financial Controllers Team.
Reporting all of the team's performance
Lead and drive new protocols and procedures and ensure the team carry these out.
Plan and monitor team absence to allow for slick business operation.
Support client work when required.
Manage equal split of work between Controllers.
Confirm that all new clients are set up according to procedures and that team member is assigned.
