Key Duties:* Owning the development of a best-practice business wide reporting suite. Specific tasks will include:
- Development of robust Excel models leveraging Hyperion Essbase, appropriately analysing monthly, YTD, and yearly budget/ forecast/ actual financial data
- Development of robust Excel models to include KPI analysis, including margin analysis
- Development of certain critical reports within in the suite in Hyperion Financial Reporting Studio
- Integration of the outputs of these models into PowerPoint
- Building upon work done to date on global standardisation of reporting formats to build a standardised global reporting suite
* Executing the reporting requirements of stakeholders, including senior management, departmental heads and other Finance representatives, and where appropriate identifying and refining further requirements
* Assist in engaging these stakeholders as part of a wider change management plan to ensure successful adoption of the reporting suite
* Act as a subject matter expert on the reporting suite and contribute to ensuring the suite of reports is useable, controlled and appropriately delivered
* Quickly develop a detailed understanding of the industry and be able to offer appropriate insight into suitable performance measurement indicators
To be eligible for this specialist vacancy, please ensure you meet the following criteria:
* Newly qualified CIMA/ACCA or equivalent from practice or industry background, with exposure to Hyperion Planning as either an end user or administrator
* Possess excellent analytical and presentation skills with the proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Demonstrated skills as a power user of advanced Excel, PowerPoint and reporting delivery support tools, specifically Hyperion Planning/ Essbase/ Financial Reporting Studio/ Hyperion Workforce Planning
* Demonstrate advanced problem-solving skills in relation to both systems and process
* Strong interpersonal skills and experience of interacting with both Finance and non-Finance stakeholders
* Strong project management skills
* High level of comfort with chart of accounts concepts and terminology e.g. rollups and hierarchies.
