Corporate Finance Manager
37 hours per week
Up to £55,000 per annum (inclusive of a temporary £8,000 market supplement which will be reviewed after two years)
Following a restructure of the councils’ shared Finance and Procurement team, we are offering this exciting opportunity for an inspirational and dynamic Corporate Finance Manager. This is a new post managing the joint Corporate Finance Team of Cherwell District Council and South Northamptonshire Council to the highest standard required to secure the delivery of professional financial services to both councils and the Joint Management Team.
The successful post holder will act as the financial advisor to the Head of Finance and Procurement, ensuring that the objectives of the joint Corporate Finance Team are appropriately aligned to the councils’ priorities and objectives, and that these are delivered. The postholder will also deputise for the Head of Finance and Procurement as required.
You will also work with the Transformation team to ensure that the agreed change agenda relevant to the shared Corporate Finance Team, including maximising the benefits of our IT systems, is resourced and delivered.
