We are currently recruited for this well known high-profile organisation - they are looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join their extremely busy finance team.The role reports to the Director of Finance and is responsible for the delivery of all aspects of operational financial management within the given directorate; it supports one of the most complex and technically challenging areas within the charity. Your daily duties will include:
o Business Partnering - Support the Divisional Director in business an planning meetings to drive forward the commercial activities of the directorate
o Budget, Planning, Forecasting - Produce, collate and deliver the divisional budget and forecasts, ensuring that all income and expenditure is correctly accounted for, providing commentary on any variances
o Financial Management - ensuring all financial reports are accurate and delivered to given deadlines, whilst maintaining all year end reporting requirements are adhered to by your team and the wider divisional managers
o Internal Controls and compliance - maintain the integrity of the divisions finance processes and procedureso Staff Management - manage, motivate and lead a small team to ensure that provides a first class service across the division
The successful candidate will be a CCAB qualified accountant with significant experience of working within a finance function of a complex organisation - you must have strong technical finance experience with the ability to analyse numbers critically highlighting, advising and interpreting trends to the director and senior management team.
You must have excellent attention to detail and be able to challenge the norm whilst providing commercial astute alternative solutions. Ideally you will have experience from a commercially-focused complex multi site organisation. It is imperative that you have first class communication both verbal and written to be successful in this role.
