Your duties will include: Undertaking audit assignments as part of the delivery of an effective Business Assurance function to the group
Assisting with the business Assurance Internal Audit function in accordance with group policies and the Audit Charter
Key responsibilities:
Assessing the potential risk areas
Producing an annual risk-based audit plan for approval by the appropriate Business Unit Senior Management Team and the Group Audit Committee
Delivering the approved audit plan
Making appropriate recommendations to senior management
Discussing and agreeing appropriate actions with management
Assessing whether agreed actions have been carried out
Reporting to senior management on the results of activities
Investigating fraud or potential fraud activity
Encouraging and assisting senior management in establishing and maintaining an appropriate systems and controls framework
Fostering a good relationship with clients
To be eligible for this specialist vacancy please ensure you meet the following criteria:
ACA, CCAB Qualified or equivalent
Education to degree level or equivalent
Ideally seeking first step from Practice into Industry
Skills:
Problem solving, analytical and communications skills required
Good organisation skills, together with ability to prioritise
