Preparation and review of monthly Balance Sheets and Income & Expenditure accounts
Production of Statutory Accounts for the Charity, Trading Company and Pension Scheme;
Support the Management Accountant in the production of timely and accurate monthly management accounts
Support the Head of Finance with the production of the annual budget whilst providing support to non-financial managers throughout the budget setting process.
Manage and motivate performance of the purchase ledger team
Ensure, maintain and continued development of high quality internal controls across the charity
Support and promote the appropriate financial control culture within the team
The successful candidate will be a CCAB qualified accountant with relevant experience of financial and team management. You must have financial and management accounting from within a similar sized charitable organisation. You will lead and manage a small team whilst working within the wider charity to promote complex financial issues to internal and external stakeholders, therefore it is essential that you have first class verbal and written communication skills.
