As a skilled accountant, working with the Adult Social Care, Health and Housing Finance team, you’ll be supporting managers across the directorate, including the Director and Chief Officers.
This is an exciting time for both Adult Social Care and for Housing – with the new Health responsibilities on the one hand, and significant changes to benefits on the other, whilst continuing to ensure people who use our services are supported well.
With a sound understanding of Local Government Finance, and a track record of professional and technical skills, a background in either Adult Social Care, Housing, or Benefits would be advantageous. Equally important is the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and work well in a busy and demanding environment.
Flexible working and flexible benefits.
