Do you hold a full CCAB or CIMA accounting qualification with substantial relevant post qualification experience?  We are seeking to appoint a Strategic Finance Manager to assist with the management and oversight of one or more corporate financial responsibilities including the provision of financial advice to a number of commissioning strategies.

About the role:

The successful candidate will manage a small team of finance professionals providing proactive, high quality financial advice in relation to all aspects of Adult Care and Public Health; supporting service delivery, performance improvement and efficiency, including providing constructive challenge, validation and problem solving.

Supporting the Head of Finance the post holder will also have oversight of several corporate financial responsibilities including the provision of financial advice to a number of commissioning strategies and liaison with local Clinical Commissioning Groups and NHS provider organisations with the post holder being heavily involved in the continued development of Lincolnshire's Better Care Fund.

About you:

Do you hold a full CCAB or CIMA accounting qualification with substantial relevant post qualification experience? Consideration will also be given to part qualified individuals with substantial relevant experience in a senior role.

We are looking for someone with detailed knowledge and understanding of local government finance including service funding arrangements, principles of financial management, accounting principles and practice.

Good communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with councillors, senior officers, external auditors and partners including funding bodies and government departments and agencies is also essential.

If you have good report writing and presentational skills and can produce comprehensive high quality reports and business cases in a clear manner and within tight timeframes then we would love to hear from you.
