The Senior Finance Analyst Capital will report in to the Head of Finance Capital & Treasury and will oversees a capital programme of £0.8bn and growing, of which all of the projects in delivery are essential to achieving Brent’s corporate objectives. The role will be expected to take responsibility for key activities across Capital such as:

  • Ensuring that all capital proposals are evaluated robustly, projects are subjected to vigorous financial monitoring  and relevant stakeholders are kept fully up to date
  • Leading on the development of the Capital Proposals with Service departments
  • Ensuring a systematic approach to financial control alongside the modernisation and streamlining of all processes
  • Simplifying complex capital concepts to a range of Senior Stakeholders
  • Staying abreast of and acting upon regulatory changes
  • The production of capital related notes for the statement of accounts

To be suitable for the role you need to be a driven and motivated fully qualified accountant with excellent communications skills and the ability to challenge and influence a range of stakeholders. Proven experience of managing a large complex capital programmes is essential.
