Section 106 & VAT Finance Officer
To work with the Principal Accountant and provide a range of financial support, analysis and advice in respect of financial contributions arising from Section 106 agreements and VAT.
We are looking for a motivated and self-reliant individual who has had previous experience of accounting for Section 106 contributions and/or accounting for VAT, and who can demonstrate that they can combine their technical knowledge in these areas with building effective relationships with budget managers from across the council. The successful candidate will work closely with contacts across the council providing a range of financial advice with regards to income contributions received, due or spent.
It will be a significant advantage for candidates to have knowledge of S106 agreements and / or submitting VAT returns.
