We are currently looking for a well organised individual who is dynamic and self-motivated, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, to join our Finance Team.
Working within the Corporate Accountancy Team (part of Financial Services), you will be responsible for contributing towards the Council’s budget setting process, budget monitoring and annual Statement of Accounts. You will be required to provide professional advice to elected members and officers to support the financial decision making process.
You will have experience working within a finance setting, ideally within a local authority, and will be a fully qualified member of any accounting body (CCAB or CIMA).
