Corporate Accountancy Manager
We are looking for an outstanding individual, with proven strong technical financial experience. We expect the individual to possess the ability to form strong and effective working relationships with Senior Officers and elected members. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, with outstanding verbal and written skills to deliver concise and informative presentations and reports.
Working within Financial Services, you will manage the day to day provision of the Corporate Accountancy Section. Your main duties will include co-ordinating the production of the Council’s four year budgets, overseeing production of the monitoring reports, and leading on the closure of the final accounts year end processes and produce the Council’s annual Statement of Accounts.
You will have substantial experience working within a finance setting, ideally within local government, and will be a fully qualified member of any accounting body (CCAB or CIMA).
