We’re looking for two enthusiastic and talented Finance Managers to join our small but friendly departmental finance team.
Supporting managers in both the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham (LBHF) and the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea (RBKC), you’ll support an exciting and diverse range of Environment and Community Services, affecting the lives of all residents, businesses and visitors to our boroughs.
You’ll work closely and proactively with service managers and Directors to set budgets, monitor budgets, advise on business cases to make savings and close the year end accounts. We currently use the Agresso finance system, but will be implementing SAP over the next twelve months.
Each post will report to the Head of Finance and line manage a Senior Accountant, as well as provide supervisory support to a trainee accountant from time to time. You’ll be committed to investing in the development and well being of your line managed staff. If you’re training for a recognised financial qualification, we’ll consider supporting you to continue with that.
We’re looking for candidates who can build good working relationships with budget managers and who have very good MS Excel skills. Previous experience in the public sector is desirable, but not essential.
