My client is a dynamic NHS Trust based in Bristol who is looking for some temporary cover in their busy finance team
This role is a crucial role in finance as it is responsible for the management and performance of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring the provision of a high quality service to the Trust
The main duties and responsibilities are
- Manage the performance of the Accounts Payable and Receivable teams, ensuring a customer focussed service to the Trust and external organisations.
- Advise the Head of Financial Services on issues relating to accounts payable and receivable within the Trust
- Pro-actively design, develop and implement policies and procedures relating to accounts receivable and payable within the Finance Department and across the Trust to ensure compliance with NHSI and other statutory requirements and the effective management of these functions within the Trust.
- Train and support staff within Finance and across the Trust in accounts payable and receivable practices and processes
This is a 12 month FTC and would suit a qualified accountant, use to working in a large complex finance team and managing a lot of transactions
You should be a self starter, have excellent communication skills and be prepared to get involved in all areas of the financial services team. There is also the opportunity to undertake accounting work
