As the Commissioned Services Manager you will be responsible for the management of contracts of varying scales and complexity between the Trust and other hospitals and providers.

Reporting to the Head of Commissioning the successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day management of a portfolio of contracts and the relationship between the Trust and its partner organisations.  The right candidate must be a capable manager with proven experience of partnership working and the ability to work effectively with clinical and managerial colleagues across the organisation in a fast paced change environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Head of Commissioning, some of your key duties are outlined below:
  • Negotiating, monitoring and maintaining a range of contracts with other providers on behalf of the Trust.
  • Work with the Trust’s clinical and operational areas, as well as the Quality, Performance and Finance teams to ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Performance management of a portfolio of contracts – including proactive management, monitoring and liaison between operational areas and Commissioners/Providers.

To be considered for this post you must be an NHS Manager with experience of the NHS contracting and commissioning environment and will demonstrate the ability to build positive working relationships within the organisation and with external partners.
