Libraries Unlimited is a Devon based charity, responsible for running a growing number of library services across the South West. During 2016/17, their first year of operation, they achieved a total turnover of £7 million, gained charitable status and opened a number of new libraries and services across the Devon region.

Their vision is to bring ideas, imagination, information and knowledge to people’s lives and communities through continued growth and transformation.

Libraries Unlimited have ambitious plans to grow and develop their organisation, people and service and are seeking a Director of Finance and Operation as part of this process.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Director of Finance and Operations will be responsible for driving the organisations financial management and planning, playing a key role in the growth of the organisation and also ensuring that sound financial systems and controls are in place to ensure compliance.

This role is part of the Senior Management Team and will work closely with all areas of the organisation to deliver the substantial business transformation, change and modernisation agenda ensuring all elements are financially viable.

It is essential that you are a qualified accountant, have experience of working in a fast paced, growing environment and can demonstrate considerable administrative, leadership and management experience.

£45,000 - £50,000 plus pension, 31 days holiday allowance
including bank holidays
