Financial Analyst – Development and Joint Venture
One of London’s largest social and commercial housing associations is currently looking for a Financial Analyst to come and join them. The Financial Analyst will assist the Finance Manager by providing high quality and timely reporting that can be used to inform decisions across the business. You will also support by providing excellent front line customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
It is an exciting time to be joining the organisation and it will be a challenging role; you will be part of a growing business and will add significant value by providing excellent customer service across the new organisation. Additionally, the organisation is just about to conduct an interim audit as well as amalgamating two sets of accounts across the business. The person in post is sure to be kept busy for the foreseeable future.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Producing reports which can be used by the Business Partners to assist their clients;
- Producing accurate analysis and other reports to the Executives and Board;
- Controlling all journal posting, detailed reconciliations and monthly reviews of all accounting entries;
- Contributing to the preparation and presentation of the Group’s short and long-term financial planning processes.
The successful applicant will be a Part-Qualified CCAB Accountant and may come from a range of sectors, including Housing, wider public sector or commercial. You will have joint venture accounting experience and will have sound analytical skills and be a confident user of Microsoft Excel. Your will have excellent attention to detail and be comfortable with working and delivering on a variety of tasks simultaneously. Your verbal and written communication skills will be outstanding and you will be able to convey complex finance information to non-finance managers. Finally, candidates will be able to work independently and exercise good initiative and judgement.
