Permanent post – 36 Hour per week
This is an excellent opportunity within the financial services division for an experienced and highly motivated finance professional. This is an interesting and varied role with responsibility for the preparation and monitoring of the Council’s capital programme. Part of a small team, you will also support the Principal Accountant with day to day Treasury Management functions and Pension Fund investment activities and take an active role in the preparation of the Council’s annual statutory accounts.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills as well as proven budget monitoring experience within a local authority. You will have a high level of computer literacy, including financial systems and a good working knowledge of local government accounting.
