Corporate Finance Manager
A new opening has arisen at a healthcare organisation for an experienced finance manager to look after the corporate area.
Responsible to the Head of Financial Management for the day to day running of the corporate area, the post is specifically aimed towards co-ordination, collection, analysis and presentation of budget, expenditure and manpower information. As such, you will provide financial management support and advice to designated directorates within the Trust. The primary responsibility is to work with the relevant directors and managers to ensure financial targets are achieved. This will include production of accurate and timely budgets, monthly accounts and forecasts, investigation and advice on highly complex issues, provision of strategic financial and business planning advice.
You should be an experienced accountant, ideally holding an accounting qualification, with substantial experience of working within an NHS environment in a senior Management Accounting or Finance Manager role. Owing to a challenging schedule, you will need to hit the ground running. The ability to handle senior management requests and queries will be very important – so first rate communication skills will be essential.
The role is likely to give you exposure across the organisation, offering the right person a great opportunity to understand the whole business whilst adding weight to their CV.
