Earlier this year we launched our Corporate Plan for 2017-18, which is our response to feedback from our customers and our people, as well as the wider challenges facing the Civil Service. It is a bit over 2 years since we were formally established. Last year four more major departments joined us and plans are well underway for us to welcome more departments to the agency. We are proud to now employ around 75% of the all the internal auditors working in central government.</p> <p>We are looking for talented individuals who have the energy and drive to deliver the Group Chief Internal Auditor role. These established roles are key in managing senior stakeholder relationships in major government departments, and also provide an important leadership role for the Agency.</p> <p>The successful candidates will have the opportunity to help review and influence the development of the Agency as we continue to build towards our vision of a flexible and responsive internal audit service that has a reputation for making a real difference, providing excellent value for money and that is regarded as a great place to work.</p> <p>The post holder will own the responsibility for the Internal Audit service to the Accounting Officer for at least one of the Whitehall departments and multiple smaller organisations, which make up the Agency’s client portfolio.
