Warwick County Council is recruiting to a Group Finance Manager for Adult Social Care and BAIC (Benefits, Assessments and Income Control). This is an exciting opportunity to join the People Group Finance Team in a varied and challenging role.

This role reports in to and supports the Strategic Finance Manager for the People Group, and is based at our Warwickshire County Council Head Office, in the heart of Warwick town centre.

Key responsibilities include the delivery of high quality financial advice and support to Business Units; supporting the business in relation to budget planning, monitoring, close down; driving key projects forward; and also leading and managing the Local Finance Team and the Benefits, Assessments and Income Control Team.

This role will give the unique opportunity to work with multiple, varied partnerships, primarily in, the Health and Social Care Sectors, as well as internal divisional leaders.

Key Requirements

You will be a CCAB qualified finance professional with evidenced knowledge of adult social care and ideally with recent local government experience. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with staff at all levels in the organisation and across different Business Units. You will have evidence of building internal and external working relationships that are underpinned by trust and collaboration, have experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams and will have a positive and engaging management style.
