CAMBODIA | Volunteer Accountant @ Org. Supporting Disadvantaged Children & Families |3- 6 Months
Our partner is an independent NGO established after a visit to the Cambodia left a deep impression on the founder. The organisations main purpose is to provide education, healthcare and sports to children to enable stability and independence.
Through their different programmes the organisation is helping an estimated number of 500 Khmer youth, children and their families.
The organisation has received three AfID volunteers. The previous volunteers have; implemented Quickbooks and written comprehensive procedures and instructions for all aspects of operating the system, documented multiple processes for handling and helped formalise the cash reconciliation process.
Your role as the fourth AfID volunteer will include providing day- to-day support to the finance team; training them on NGO accounting, bookkeeping & processes; professionalise the system and processes started by previous volunteers and implement a budgeting process and train them on how to track funds efficiently.
Our partner will be able to provide accommodation in a volunteer house for a very affordable rate.
